Privacy Policy
Receipt has no account, advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking. The developer does not operate a server that collects your Receipt content.
Information handled by Receipt
Receipt may handle the following information on your device:
- Receipt content, categories, collections, dates, and notes.
- Photos you choose and available embedded metadata.
- Apple Health workouts after optional read permission.
- Locations you search for or select using Apple Maps.
- App preferences and local-notification settings.
This information is used only to provide Receipt's features.
Collection and tracking
Receipt processes its app data on your device. The developer does not receive or retain it and does not use it for tracking, advertising, or profiling.
Apple may process information when you use Apple Health, Apple Maps, iCloud Backup, notifications, or the system share sheet. Apple's handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Health and location
Health access is optional and read-only. When you choose a workout, Receipt copies its summary into a locally stored receipt. Receipt does not write to Health or transmit Health data to the developer.
Location details can come from text you enter, selected photo metadata, or Apple Maps search. Receipt does not send them to a developer server.
Sharing, storage, and deletion
Receipt shares information only when you initiate an export, print, or system share action. The recipient's privacy practices apply after content leaves Receipt.
App content remains in Receipt's local container until you delete it or remove the app. Removing Receipt deletes local app data, subject to device or iCloud backups managed in your Apple settings. It does not delete original workouts from Apple Health.
Permissions and security
You can change Health, photos, and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Revoking access prevents future access but does not automatically delete content already saved in Receipt.
Receipt relies on Apple's app sandbox and platform security. No storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children and policy changes
Receipt is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may change with Receipt's features or data practices. The effective date will be revised when an update is published.
