Why will my outdoor run not start?
Motivator needs Location access for outdoor distance, pace, and route tracking. Open iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Motivator and allow location access. Background location is required for the run to continue reliably when the screen is locked or another app is open.
Why are heart rate or energy missing?
These metrics depend on available HealthKit data, typically from a paired Apple Watch or another source. In iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Motivator, review the permissions you granted. Motivator still records supported run details when a metric is unavailable.
Why did the coach use the device voice?
When premium voice generation is unavailable, delayed, or not included in your access, Motivator falls back to an on-device Apple voice so coaching can continue. Your network connection and active subscription can affect premium voices.
Will deleting a run remove it from Apple Health?
No. Deleting a run inside Motivator removes the local Motivator record and its saved photos/audio, but leaves the corresponding workout in Apple Health. Manage Health workouts separately in Apple’s Health or Fitness app.
How do I delete my data or account?
Open Motivator Settings. Delete local run history removes local runs, photos, recovery data, and saved coach audio. Delete account and all data also deletes the anonymous account used by the online coaching service. Neither option deletes Apple Health workouts.
